Daily Word:Jesus-Our Salvation

By Rosalba | Apr 5, 2017

…Behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying,”Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.

Matthew 1:20-21(ESV)

ARISE[from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you-rise to a new life!] Shine(be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

Isaiah 60:1(AMP)

Week-End Reflection:Be a Child of Light

By Rosalba | Mar 31, 2017

5:8: for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.

5:9: (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true.)

5:10: and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.

5:11: Take no part in unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

5:12: for it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret.

5:13: But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible,

5:14: for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,

“Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Ephesians 5:8-14

Daily Word: Lights in the World

Philippians 2: 14-16(ESV):

Do all things without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation , among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.

Daily Word:”Welcomes Me…”

By Rosalba | Mar 29, 2017

At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

Matthew 18:1-5(NIV)

Daily Word: “We, The Church…”

By Rosalba | Mar 28, 2017

chapelHere is a trustworthy saying: If anyone sets his heart on being an overseer,he desires a noble task. Now the overseer must be above reproach, the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him with proper respect. (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?)

1Timothy 3:1-5(NIV)

Daily Word:True Reward

By Rosalba | Mar 27, 2017

Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Psalm 127:3(NIV)

When was the last time you told your children “I Love You” or “I am so proud of You”?

Nothing is more important than building up a child.

Just as God lifts us up each day with his Word, so too should we build up the young in our life with the words we choose to say to them.

So go, tell them they are loved, they are the apple of your eye, your biggest blessing. Tell them how valuable and perfectly made they are.

Drop everything and spend time with them.  God never leaves his children, especially when we call on him-neither should we when our children need us.  There is nothing more important-Amen.

WeekEnd Reflection

By Rosalba | Mar 24, 2017

Food For Thought:

Do you pray everyday?

Do you include “Thank You” in your prayer?

I believe most of us pray only when we have a need.

I have learned that it’s about being thankful for what the Lord has already done for us.

Look at the everyday miracles and express your gratefulness to God.

Give thanks and affirm what will be today and in the future-for our father will provide.

Placing yourself in that positive attitude at the start of each day will have you Thanking God for more and more.

Fellowship Page welcomes your prayer requests, Thanksgivings, and other expressions of faith.

“Joy Bubbles”- Rediscovering Our Childlike Faith:

But Jesus called them[the parents] to Him, saying, Allow the little children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for to such[as these]belongs the Kingdom of God.

Luke 18:16(AMP)

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: If prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. Romans 12:4-8(ESV)

How do you get out of bed each morning?

Remember when you were 5 and jumped out of bed, ran down the stairs to the window with your kid binoculars to catch a glimpse of the Mama bird feeding her baby birds early morning worms? You probably were up for hours before you realized you lived in a typical house on a typical street and needed to get ready to head off to a typical school. No, before you were brought back into the realities of your everyday life, you were on safari’s and detective work. You were Superman’s apprentice then took a rocket ship for an early morning spin. While the rest of the world was sleeping, you had the whole planet to yourself! It was the time in your life nothing was neutral-everything was in techno -color. Most mornings I am on a mission to make my coffee before anything else. I’ve gotten accustomed to believing that in order to function at all I need my “engine fuel” brewing before first thing.

Romans 12:4-8 reminds us to give all of ourselves in which ever assignment God has for us. But it also stirs me up to approach even the mundane tasks with a zest for life only found in my Spirit. When I look up the definition of “Zeal” it states: “eager endeavor or devotion.”  I cannot think of a better way to describe how we should truly live the life God has given us and to show our gratefulness as His children.
